We have been going through the seven steps to becoming a good man or woman based upon ps 37:23 “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.” To do this we discovered that a Good man (or woman) are people of the Bible. They are people who not only read the bible, study it, commit portions to memory, but most importantly they meditate upon it. We also came to the conclusion that a good person prayers to God, exercise faith, separates themselves from people who are a bad influence upon them. On top of all this, they are compassionate (and as we discovered last night), they witness to others about Jesus Christ.

The Spirit of God then moved me to speak of exactly what we are to witness to others. I spoke of the resurrection of Christ. I mentioned that it is not only the believing from the heart in who Christ is and in His resurrection, but it i includes recognizing that we are sinners in need of a Savior. I added that we must personally ask Jesus to save us, as we must all (individually) give an account one day . with all this said, I asked if there are any under the sound of my voice who needs to be saved today, that they recognize their sinfulness and a need for a Savior. Praise God, two got saved last night.

They are on their respective way to becoming a good person whom, not only will God delight in their steps, but they too will delight in being ordered (directed) in their way of life. Pray for them that they will commit themselves totally to Christ. Pray that their faith will grow from strengthen to strengthen as they deal with their personal habits that so easily besets them. That God would convict their hearts to lay aside their sin and clean them up.. I am reminded of what God said in Isiah 55:7 “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him”
