Prison Update 1 Dec 2015

Testimony from New Hanover Male Prison

Dear sir, my name is (?) from Pietermaritzburg, currently I am in New Hanover Prison. I am a saved Christian who was saved in 2013 when I got sentenced for 8 years imprisonment. I was so lucky to find Jesus on the premises of this place, but most of all, I was even more fortunate because I met someone to guide me along the Christian path, and that person is Pastor Minnaar. Thank you so much for giving me such an opportunity to be guided by you on this wonderful journey to heaven. May God bless you and your family

I have edited this letter as little as possible. I just want to make a comment about this..it is through the RIP recovery program that I had introduced since 2014 that we are starting to see results, in fact about three weeks ago he mentioned, “I have finally realized why it is good for me to come here”. I was told by some, that I am wasting my time working with the inmates, but I have concluded that if my ministry through this program, touches one person heart,(and have made a difference), it is worth all the effort and money spent.

Praise God for opening this door, pray with me, and ask the Lord to open more hearts and let us make a difference collectively in the hearts and minds of , not only the prisoners, but also the wardens as they care for and protect not only the inmates but also society at large

” Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? :45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.” Mat 25:44
