The testimony of Lord Jesus Christ
In 27 October, Lord Jesus Christ saved me and freed me from the bondage of this world. Glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I wanted to study the bible because I thought I will be a pastor after my imprisonment, who will disguise his evil doings by being in the church. I met pastor Leo Minnaar through a former team mate, …… pastor L. Minnaar managed Reformers Unanimous program at New Hanover Correctional Center. I have learnt more than I have ever thought I would learn. My foolish thought of being a ‘false pastor’ vanished.
I have learned the importance of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and how much I need the gospel in my life, and that if I would benefit anything if I disguise my evil by the church. My Lord Jesus Christ has shown me that I should not give a single thought to that I had before but serve my Lord Jesus Christ for a prosperous life.
I went to church when I was young and loved Lord Jesus Christ …… Church in Clermont/ Kwedabeka was the church I went to . Ministered by pastor ….. As I grew in the church I began to notice that pastor ….. was powerful. There people were speaking in tongues (gibberish) at church. I thought it was the power of the Holy Spirit.
One day a lady testified that she was healed from HIV, when pastor ….. was praying for other people they fell, but I did not fall. I even asked myself why this is not happening to me?
Its not that I was a good boy then. Because I remember that …..’s mother ( our Sunday school teacher then) left the church because his children were becoming naughty at church. I saw girlfriends in my sisters at church. ( this happened when I was young).
T….. (was not attending any church) he once told me that pastor …… was a false teacher. I did not believe him, I had thought he was not a believer. But now I can see what T…. was talking about.
There was a day when a respected man visited our church. He said that he was a prophet ( I believe a false one now). He took out a bullet from a woman’s thigh. That is what the woman claimed. She went to the toilet, and told the church about the bullet. I don’t remember seeing the bullet.
I was not good myself. I remember one day (when I was older) I went to pastor ……. I asked him for R150.00, lying that I wanted to apply at the university. He did not give me the money but S….. mother …heard that and she gave me R150.00. I drank that money .
Pastor ….was powerful , he used to call the fire of God most of the times. I believed he was calling God’s fire but now I can see he was one of the false teachers. My aunt who bought me to …… Church left. She joined another church, she brought me there.
The church had few members without keyboard, guitars and drums. I expected to be at the church by that time. Now I understood why my aunt left ……. Church. Besides my aunt leving …… I thank my Lord Jesus Christ for salvaging me from ….. I believe that Jesus wanted me out of that church because He wanted to give me a chance to serve Him in His will.
After I left …… I was drawn into the wickedness of the world for years, walking in the darkness, stealing, lying, smoking, drinking, robbing people, I killed, raped and many more I did. I don’t recall now or I did not write now.
My Lord Jesus Christ freed me from that bondage by having the idea of becoming a false pastor who will lead people astray through false teachings. My Lord Jesus Christ has removed that idea now from me. I am free through my Lord Jesus Christ.
I am the testimony of my Lord Jesus Christ who saved me and freed me from the worlds bondage. He took me out of darkness and brought me into the light. The Light is leading me now. Shining the testimony that I am through my Lord Jesus Christ.
If it was not for my Lord Jesus Christ right now I would still be having thoughts of darkness and seeking freedom in the darkness that will draw me down a pit. I can not pull myself out from it. But the grace of my Lord Jesus Christ by faith brought me salvation.
Salvation is earned by accepting the payment of my Lord Jesus Christ. Who has rescued me from deep down the sea of wickedness, I never thought I would walk out from it so easily, having my Lord Jesus Christ. Lead me my Father, I am following. Lead me my Lord, I am blind on y own but in you I see all vividly. Lead me my Lord, in You I have a flourishing guidance. Passing through persecutions, afflictions and tribulations, to your perfection.
